Privacy policy

Sleepnotix ("we", "us") makes 10-hour sleep subliminals: free tracks on YouTube, the Sleepnotix Plus membership and custom tracks made to order on sleepnotix.com. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and how to have your information deleted. Questions: hello@sleepnotix.com.
What we collect
- Your email address and name, when you join Plus, order a custom track or ask us for your member link.
- Payment details, which go straight to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Membership records: your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, your membership status and a private link to your member page and feed.
- What you tell us for a custom track: your goals, any affirmations you write, the sound and voice you choose, whether to speak your first name, and any notes.
- Emails you send us.
- Basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages or files requested), kept briefly by our hosting provider to run and protect the site.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics, and we don't set tracking cookies. Stripe's checkout and billing pages may set their own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.
How we use it
- To take payment, run your membership and lower your price each month as promised.
- To send you your member link, receipts and membership emails, and to reply when you write to us.
- To write, record and deliver your custom tracks. A person reads and approves every custom script before it is recorded. We may use AI writing and voice tools to help produce tracks; all Sleepnotix voices are AI-generated.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use your custom-track details for anything other than making your track.
Who helps us run Sleepnotix
- Stripe: payments, subscriptions and the "manage membership" page (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Cloudflare: website hosting, file storage for tracks and member records, and email delivery (Cloudflare's privacy policy).
- Google Workspace: our business email inbox.
- AI service providers, only for drafting custom-track text where needed. We share only what's needed to write your track.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Membership records are kept while you're a member and for up to 2 years after, so we can answer billing questions. Custom-track details are kept for up to 1 year after delivery, so we can make revisions. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we have to keep it by law.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email hello@sleepnotix.com.
- Cancel your membership any time from your member page ("Manage membership").
- Your private feed link works only while your membership is active. Please don't share it.
Security
All pages use an encrypted (https) connection. Payments are handled by Stripe. Member files are only served through private links that stop working when a membership ends. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Sleepnotix is not directed at children under 13, and purchases must be made by adults 18 or older.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For important changes, we'll email members.
